Our booth with STEMPICOM at the CeBiT
Last week we presented our current research project STEMPICOM at the CeBiT in Hanover. We were part of a joint booth of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), which promotes the project as part of the research initiative mFUND.
The project is a preliminary study on geo-intelligence research for community-based logistics solutions entitled “SPATIO-TEMPORAL INTELLIGENCE FOR COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES (STEMPICOM)”.
The aim of this project is to develop an interoperable web service, based on the “AMiCUS – a smart community driven supply service for rural areas” concept, which was awarded the German Mobility Award. It defines such logistics links between citizens and local suppliers, depending on their specific spatial requirements Location, optimized as efficiently as possible. This Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) service enables interested software or application manufacturers to digitally coordinate between the actual actors of a caregiving service, in their dual role as “suppliers” and “consumers”, and the local suppliers, taking into account the existing ones “peer delivery portal” as profitable as possible in value.
